The work illustrates a person with staff in hand, herding eight reindeer up a grassy hill. Titled, numbered, and signed by the artist, lower margin, the work is matted in a corresponding shade and further housed in a simple frame under glass; some discoloration is evident, possibly only to the inside of the glass. A signed and numbered 66/183 serigraph entitled "Woman-Bear Legend" by Alaska artist Rie Muñoz (1921-2015). The work illustrates the legend in which two women went up the mountain every day to snare squirrels, one getting squirrels, the other always stopping at a clearing part way up the mountain and eating berries all day long. One evening, as the woman came down to the clearing with her day's squirrel harvest, she saw her friend on all fours eating berries, and as she approached, her friend turned into a black bear. Titled lower left, numbered lower center, and signed lower right by the artist, the work is matted in a corresponding shade and further housed in a simple frame under glass. Measures approximately 19" x 26" overall.

Collection of vintage Alaskana memorabilia consisting of two First Day of Issue Official Cachet statehood stamped envelopes, both dated 1959, one sealed, 1951 vinyl of The Coraleers singing Alaska’s Flag, The Star Spangled Banner, and America (My Country ’Tis of Thee), and an Alaska State flag in blue and gold, with signature at lower right for John Ben "Benny" Benson (1912-1972), the fourteen-year-old student who won the flag design contest for the Territory of Alaska in 1927; Alaska became the forty-ninth state thirty-two years later in 1959. His description of the flag was “The blue field is for the Alaska sky and the forget-me-not, an Alaska flower. The North Star is for the future of the state of Alaska, the most northerly in the Union. The dipper is for the Great Bear – symbolizing strenth (sic).” Flag is framed under glass, measuring approximately 17" x 23" overall.

A c.1977 signed and numbered 24/100 serigraph entitled "Crabbing" by Alaska artist Rie Muñoz (1921-2015). The work illustrates a King Islander taking a small piece of bait, and wrapping a line around it, no hook necessary. The hungry king crab, which come into shallower water in the winter, will grab the morsel. The woman would tug up the enormous crustacean and fold in its legs before the crab froze solid - this way they could fit more crab in their walrus skin bags. Only the women fished on King Island as the men were in charge of the hunting. Titled, numbered, and signed by the artist, lower margin, the work is matted in a corresponding shade of blue and further housed in a simple frame under glass. Measures approximately 26.5" x 14.75" overall.

A stone lithograph c.1960 by the late Alaskan artist, Fred Machetanz (1908-2002) entitled "Winter Preparation". The work depicts a man in the village of Unalakleet checking his equipment and making sure it is in working order prior to winter's arrival. Here, the thong for attaching snowshoes is being replaced; next the lashing on the sled, its brake, the dog harnesses, and his winter clothing will all be inspected and confirmed to be in usable order. Around the village, the sounds of winter preparation may be heard - the pounding of chinking the log cabins, repairing dog barns and houses, and the constant sawing of logs which have been towed downriver. Grass has been gathered for bedding dogs, and for insulating boots, the storage cache in the background is already filled with dried salmon, and soon the river will be filled with slush ice, and the cache will be wearing a cap of snow. Titled lower left, marked Edition-100, and hand signed in graphite lower right. Matted in light beige and housed in a dark frame with rope and beaded accents. Measures approximately 27.25" x 31" overall.

A stone lithograph c.1969 by the late Alaskan artist, Fred Machetanz (1908-2002) entitled 'Dividing the Muktuk'. The work depicts a group of women at work with their crescent shaped ooloos (knives) dividing the "muktuk", a three-quarter inch thick whale skin which is used for food. In the background is a cook tent, freighting sled, and a group of sled dogs. Titled lower left, marked Edition-100, and hand signed in graphite lower right. Matted in cream and housed in a dark brown/black frame. Measures approximately 25" x 29" overall.
